Hi! Can anyone tell me the timeframe for a booking when it is unarchived?  I have unarchived reservations that seem to go back to historical booking status before staff can get the needed changes made. Is there a place to change this time period?Thanks for any help!Tracy ThompsonSee More

Full balance due date -

Hi Paul,Struggling a bit with the "Full balance due date". Standard is set at e.g. 42 days before start date in the setup. So all bookings made after that have the wrong Full balance due date (in fact past dates!). In the current situation we have to manually adjust all these bookings. Is there no way to introduce a new token for bookings made after the standard set Full balance due number of days? Options and promo codes

Would i be possible to separate options in the promo codes. We, and i suspect many other companies, do not mark up options anywhere near as much as tours. At present you can only apply a blanket percentage discount to everything, options and tours. Ideally allowing two discounts to be applied, one for options and one for tours, would make promo codes far easier to use and much more useful. July 2015 - A long time since the last update

Time to go back to our monthly schedule of public updates via this blog as the last one was a while back!

Overall status

  • We are now handling several thousand bookings a day and running at about 2.5 the volume that we were all trading at, this time last year.
  • Suppliers continue to join the system - in particular larger day tour ones with more complicated needs. We now have 12,500 tours fully described with images, descriptions, great…

February 2014 - The focus of the year ahead

2013 was a busy year for TourCMS with a major increase in suppliers using us to run their websites, their daily operations and their distribution to travel agents, hotel concierges and web affiliates. Collectively we did around 100 million USD through the system (and 2014 is looking like a 200 million USD year)



People always ask us what is our focus going forwards? It is actually quite a hard question to answer in public but here goes

April 2013 - Release note summary (last few months)

Team TourCMS has been busy making core system changes to. So busy that we have almost forgotten to write a release note for a few months saying what we have been upto!

* Hotel product types now hidden - although still possible to turn on hotel product types if you go to Configuration & Setup - tours general settings
