Editing Dates & Prices
Hi,
Could someone look at the Dates & Prices pages please.
It takes ages (30seconds plus) when I open the Edit Dates & Prices link, before I can actually do anything in there (type in any boxes), and again another 30seconds plus when I save the changes.
This is in Firefox. During both saves, the Firefox CPU demand goes through over 50% and stops practically anything else working on the PC as well
In IE7 & IE8, we always get a Slow Script/Stop Script error pop up box when trying to edit prices. If we stop the script, it does carry on and save the changes after a while.
In Chrome it just crashes everytime you try and load the Edit dates & prices page at all.
I think there must be some script error somewhere. Could you have a look please.

Hi Ralph,
Which page are you going into? (Presumably "Dates & Prices" > "View and edit departures", and/or "View and edit freesale seasons").
Is this happening for all Tours (or is there an example one we can look at)? Not managed to reproduce myself currently.

Not a perfect answer - but the speed issue - FYI - is a PC processing speed issue - not a web server / bandwidth issue.
Flippant answer is time to invest in a new PC :)
OK - seriously, yes we did add more departures on a page a month or so back - so potentially that is caused a slowdown - however no - no one else has mentioned this at least
