How to: Pasting source code in the forums

If you have tried pasting HTML or TourCMS template code into the forums you may have noticed it doesn't always look right once you've posted. This is due to the forums removing a lot of HTML tags, there are two ways to fix this:

1) Upload your code snippet elsewhere and then put a link in the forums. Pastebin (or the many similar services) is good for this.

2) HTML encode the code snippet and then paste it into your post here. Postable will HTML encode for you.

Example encoded with postable:
<em>hello!</em>

Example just pasting straight into the forums (note the forum has understood the em tags so we see italic text instead of the source code):
hello!
