Mandatory Fields for different types of trips

Hi,

I'm sure its possible, it may just me being not able to understand the proces involved in setting it up...

I need a certain set of mandatory fields for a customer to enter for a certain trip (trip abroad needs compulsary passort details etc),

but also need a different set of mandatory fields for customers booking another trip (day trip where passport etc is not important)

Is this possible? if so, where am i going wrong!

Hi John

What you describe is possible - however you need to set up a 2nd website channel (in your same account). The 2nd website channel can have completely different settings, text, etc

Can even put a product filter on so each channel only features certain products

Go to website manager and create a 2nd website there....

Yes that makes sense, it a long winded approach, but i understand it's the easier way around it without having to restructure some big elements of the system, I'll give it a go!

Very few companies have very different operational styles - but some do (e.g. situations you describe)

Actually, once configured, you won't notice much difference with having 2 website channels and it will feel fine and easy to maintain. Some TourCMS customers are upto 5 or so........
