For users of the TourCMS tour operator ecommerce platform
I'm having a bit of trouble configuring an option.
The options is for an an activity. The price is per day and it changes according to how long they do the activity.
I have configured the option so that it lists okay. A customer can select the quantity required and the correct price is displayed. However, depending on the quantity selected I would like the trip duration to extend as well.
Make sense?
For example...
Option = Additional recreational diving >>
Select 2 = 2 days of diving (adds price) but also adds 2 nights to trip
Select 3 = 3 days of diving (adds price) but also adds 3 nights to trip
etc
At the moment I can get the prices to work fine but i am struggling to get to duration to extend according to their selection. In the options 'extensions/questions' I have put down +1 night and it adds 1 night to the trip. But this isn't what I want to achieve and I can't seem to work out how I can get overall duration to extend according to their selection.
Any pointers? Can it be achieved?
Thanks,
Ben

Currently you would need to set up two Options:
- 2 Extra days of diving (Select +2 in the Extensions area of the Option setup)
- 3 Extra days of diving (Select +3 in the Extensions area of the Option setup)
I appreciate that's an extra bit of work compared to your original request, that may be something we can improve down the line.
Additionally you could have a third Option "No extension" and then give your customers a simple radio button to choose whether their whole party wants "No extension", "2 Extra days of diving" or "3 Extra days of diving" - rather than as it would be by default picking the number of people from the dropdown. If you'd like a hand setting this up as an example just contact support and we can do that for you.
