Promoters' commissions

I'm trying to set up my promoters as agents and configure their commissions. 

If I assign a booking to an agent it automatically takes the commission percentage off the balance, which is what I want. 
When I change the dropdown to balance payable by customer as opposed to agent, it take this commission amount off though, so the balance is the total amount without commission deducted. 

We do bookings through third parties, which means they automatically take their commission as the deposit through their site and we get the booking details and the balance payment. We want to be able to enter these bookings on the tourcms system so that we have all our bookings in one place. 

Any ideas how to get this to work?

So, if I get this right, you want

a) Commission to be removed from the balance

b) BUT the balance to be payable by the customer?

Correct! because they've already paid the commission as their deposit to our third party.

I think we have a solution for this - please test (see settings in agent manger, on a specific travel agent)
