Real example of the TourCMS Marketplace working in practice (Adnet)

Thought it would be worthwhile showing how the TourCMS Marketplace works in practice.

See those 2 Armenian tours listed there? Those images and tour descriptions come from TourCMS data and are featured on the Armenia page on Worldreviewer

From the customer's perspective

* See a tour featured on a travel website

* They click on the link (hopefully!)

* Visit your website (straight into the tour page on your website)

* If interested, book with you just as if a direct booking

From the supplier's (your) perspective

* Configure your TourCMS Marketplace listing, your product listing and ensure you are on an upgraded (paying) TourCMS account

* Within the TourCMS Marketplace create a connection to Adnet (this lets them access your product information)

* Wait upto 24 hours. Your products will appear on their next update

* If you ever need to change your descriptions / prices / images etc you can do this within TourCMS (and all your Marketplace partners will be updated automatically)

* If a customer clicks a link and then, subsequently, books with you the TourCMS tracking will ensure that Adnet are rewarded for their advertising efforts. You only pay if someone books with you.

Key point with this is that this is advertising and ultimately you, the supplier, will deal with your customers directly just like any other direct or PPC (Google) sourced business.

Pretty straightforward really. No need to mess around logging into different 3rd party websites, no need for complex commercial discussions. Just do it!

I should probably add that if you go into reports section of TourCMS - clicks report.... you can see how much traffic individual sources have created for you....
Hi Alex.

Is this all up and working now?

I checked in my MP account - don't see any clicks (or customers) for these two partners. Did I miss something?

I've added a screenshot of worldreviewer...

Hi Warren
What they do with the tours is down to them. Now the can see product it gives them ideas how to promote it so watch out for some news soon! Adprecision is en route (which I presume you meant by the 2nd one)

Best wishes. Alex
Okay - that's good. I'll watch for developments.

Cheers!

Warren
