I wonder if anyone can help
My rtf documents from docs and comms in a booking are not opening properly - instead of opening in a word document they are opening as notepad and as gobbledegook. My colleagues are all OK, so it's not the system but I wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction to be able to correct this.

Um - you need to change the document assoction for .doc and .rtf documents back to Word. Google file association and the version of windows you are using - and hopefully some guide on the web will tell you have to fix.
And, er, its not quite gobbledegook - it is RTF markup language....... which we have had to code in to make the documents...... that is why our brains are so fried!

Hopefully my info above helped you fix it - if not - shout! Not quite sure which version of Windows you are on - BUT if you tell us, we can dig out the right instructions to change file association....
