Simple AJAX Enquiry form (new to the solutions library)

We've had a few emails recently for help setting up various enquiry forms attached to the new API in TourCMS, to help make this process simpler there's a new article to the solutions library which hides the complex API integration somewhat.

It's quite flexible and once you have the basics up and running it should let you quickly add all sorts of enquiry forms and add new fields etc.

Please feel free to post any feedback in this thread or ask any questions if you get stuck.

I can't get the AJAX enquiry to work.

Returns the following error:

Sorry, there was a problem with your enquiry

Failed timestamp check:

Thu, 01 Jan 1970 02:00:00 +0000
Wed, 15 Dec 2010 16:24:14 +0000

Any help appreciated!

Hi Ian,

It sounds like you have enabled the timestamp checking (an anti-spam thing) and that the timestamp in your form either doesn't exist or is in someway malformed.

You could switch off the timestamp check (it should have been off by default) or do feel free to paste a link to your form and I can take a look at the timestamp field.

With the Ajax enquiry form entry I am having problems adding the marketting permission field. I have tried permemail set to 1 but this is amended to the details within the enquiry.

Does anyone know if there is a field name to add this marketting question to the enquiry form?

Hi Ian,

Did you download the code for the ajax enquiry form a while ago? If you downloaded it before the 17th November then you don't have the latest version (the correct version will have been in a zip with "v3" in the filename).

Best thing to do would be to download the latest version and replace your easyAjaxEnquiry.php with the one from the zip file (you shouldn't need to change any other files).
