For users of the TourCMS tour operator ecommerce platform

Hi,

Just an idea.

I'm setting up a few tours that are basically the same - but with a few minor changes.

It would be nice within the tour setup screen to have an option to copy/duplicate a tour where you could give it a different name.  It would then only take a few minor tweaks to setup these tour.

Here's an example.

I'm setting up 3 tours to Argentina.  Silver, Gold & Platinum - i.e. 3star 4star & 5star.  The itineraries are basically the same with the only difference being hotels & price. To set up these 3 I had to input all the info 3 times, select marketplace info/images etc 3 times.

I know I could set up one tour (3 star) with a "from" price and have optional upgrades to 4 & 5 star.  I may still end up doing it thatbut it would be nice to have the option.

Another advantage is that you would not need to input dates / freesale seasons again as you'd have the same settings.

This would work for both tours & hotels.

Keep up the good work!

Aled

I need this too. Thank you, Anne-Marie.
a great idea, i vote for this tweak
Yep - we hear you all :)
It may be an idea to split Hotels & Tours also.
We're new to Tour CMS, but the copy and separating hotels from tours definitely has our vote.

Thanks Charles
I'll add our request for this as well, though I think its in already ;)
Definitely a way of copying all the tour data including custom fields, would be a much quicker and easier way to create a new tour for website publication.
