New release went live last night.
Only a couple of tweaks - but worth mentioning.....

The x1 rule enables a price to be set per product rather than per person (e.g. a villa rental at a single price regardless if it is 3,4 or 5 people in the villa).
The display of this within the booking edit page now will be
(3) 1 50 Euros
rather than
(1) 3 50 Euros
i.e. the quantity and the number 1 have been swapped. This is sl…

Ha Long Bay is one of Vietnam’s top ten experiences for foreign travelers. When Ha Long Bay was recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site in 1997, tourism seemed to be bursting at the seams in this truly unique place. Hundreds of tourist companies, both domestic and international, built their tours on cruises around Ha Long Bay, providing tourists with a wide range of choices for their journeys to enjoy the unique beauty of the bay, which lies along the Hon Gai coastal town in Quang…

Tet Trung Thu, as it is known in Vietnam, or the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival is a wonderful, ancient festival that revolves around children. The Festival dates back as far as 15-20,000 years ago in Asia, and is traditionally held on the 15th day of the 8th Lunar Month. This year, the date of the Festival is September 14th, the same day as the full moon. The Mid-Autumn Moon Festival is one of the two most popular festivals in Vietnam, and has been important to families in Vietnam for many years. It…

Tonights release includes
Tax inclusive setting
Previously you would load your prices ex. tax - and configure the sales tax values. TourCMS, within a booking, would then calculate and add the appropriate tax at point of booking.
However, this was causing rounding problems for countries where sales tax is heavily used as people mainly create their sale price (tax inclusive) then worry about non-nice numbers for their internal accounts. TourCMS now supports this.

Couple of changes to the online booking engine
Firstly you can now request that either an agent or an existing customer can (or must) login at the start of the online booking process. If you make it mandatory the availability screen will not show until they are logged in.
If you want both agent and customer login then you are going to have to create two booking engines (on your same account) - go to Configuration & Setup - websites - and add a second website.
