New release gone live tonight.

The main release has been around component level tokens. These are tokens (only for RTF dcouments at this stage) that pull specific information from each booking component into a document.

This makes production of accommodation specific vouchers easier than it was previously.

Minor release this weekend.....

Overnight we have completed a new release to TourCMS. It introduces a new type of pricing mechanism - duration based pricing. Now you can, if you wish, adjust dates for a particular booking component within a booking (such as car hire for example) - and the number of days car hire will automatically update. This change in duration will change the total sale price (and total cost price) for that component.

Defaults for duration pricing can be set within both the tour and option setups.…

There are new tokens that can be used for invoices and we have decided to depreciate (meaning discontinue) an existing set of tokens used for extracting options into a document.

Minor release today....

1) You can now delete multiple flags at the same time. It was recently highlighted to us that some of our power users have 5 or so pages of outstanding actions on bookings..... and that this makes it harder to stay on top of them. Anyway, this will help (as it will be quicker to delete them). We are going to have to do some more work on flags in the future

We have just released (with no downtime) a minor release that gives everyone even more product configurations and bookings management capabilities.

Edit cost currency within a booking
Alongside the existing ability to change supplier of a travel product within an individual booking, you can now change the currency used for each cost as well. When you change currency the exchange rate will be updated to the currently loaded exchange rate for that currency.

Component name editing
Within a booking you can now edit any component name (e.g. tours & options). This is especially helpful if you are making tailor-made tours and need more flexibility than offered…

Wow - I know no one will believe it - but we have succeeded in getting the new release live and fully operational.

We finished at 6 AM UK time this morning....... quite a long night.

The custom developed online booking engines are still down (and will be fixed as soon as possible) (as previously agreed with those who have bespoke work within their online booking engines). Those how are using the standard booking engine are fully operational.

We will be undertaking the much anticipated release tonight between 9-11 PM (Tuesday 4th December 07)

Due to the size of the release it will require full system downtime in order for us to undertake data transfer etc. This is the first time that TourCMS has been offline for more than a year.

Firstly thank you everyone for the support that has been given to TourCMS over recent times. We are absolutely delighted with the number of tour operators who we are now working with - tour operators that previously struggled to find reservation systems that meet small company budgets.

I don't think anyone will be sorry to see them go as they were full of people promoting their own products rather than meeting other TourCMS users.
