Previously, using the IFRAME method, you could put the first page of the booking process (the availability table / calendar) integrated within your own website but subsequent pages were on the TourCMS URL.
Now you can maintain the entire booking process within an IFRAME - meaning that the user never really leaves your site (technically they do, but they don't think they have). The web manual has bee…

There is a new
MONEY main section within TourCMS. Within this section you can
* Easily reconcile sales ledger payments (made by agents or customers) (rather than reconciling within each booking).
* See overdue final balances (and bookings where no deposits have been received)
Hopefully there is sufficient information on the screen in order to "chase" your late paying customers (that is what this screen is designed for)

Release gone live tonight that has changed a couple of things.
Booking fees
Previously to automatically add a mandatory booking fee to every booking received you could add an option that was "included, no removal". However some customers suggested that this wasn't really a great way of showing a fee to the user as, after all, the fee is not really an option.... Also in some countries the fee is a legal requirement.
You can still add a booking fee the existing way.... however now you can…

Overnight we have completed a new release to TourCMS. It introduces a new type of pricing mechanism - duration based pricing. Now you can, if you wish, adjust dates for a particular booking component within a booking (such as car hire for example) - and the number of days car hire will automatically update. This change in duration will change the total sale price (and total cost price) for that component.
Defaults for duration pricing can be set within both the tour and option setups.…

Hi all,
Last night we released the latest version of TourCMS. Changes this week have been focussed on creating new documentation tokens for use in document and email templates.
There are new tokens that can be used for invoices and we have decided to depreciate (meaning discontinue) an existing set of tokens used for extracting options into a document.
This is because that style of tokens does not support a complex booking (what we call a multi-centre booking) which has m…

However we have a problem - and we want to be fully open and honest - so that everyone is clear what is happening. Our problem is that there are too many (!) companies asking us for TourCMS. Right at the…
