21st May - New release - Mainly a few tweaks and a new departure manifest
New release went live overnight......
Online booking
You can now edit the text for start and end date..... accommodation companies tend to use arrival date / departure date instead. This text is carried through into your documentation tokens.
On the first screen of the booking process you can now show the number of spaces remaining. On a table this is an extra column. On the calendar view this is in the text you see when you hover you mouse over the book link.
Web API
New tag attribute for number of spaces in a departure.
Admin interface
Pages now print better..... as a result of tweaking the print stylesheet. Please tell us how you get on with this.
First screen for staff generated booking now shows number of spaces remaining (and so does the dates & prices configuration screen)
Simplified the tour setup page (on each tour). The departures tab now has less settings - and so has the freesale tab. The additional settings were not being used and we decided that it would be better to have a less complex page in order to assist people getting started with TourCMS....
Tour setup should be a bit faster as some of the dropdowns (with upto 500 entries in each) have been removed

Hidden!
No seriously - it is fairly well hidden - as it isn't something that everyone will need. If you click on the Q / P / C numbers (showing the quotation, provisional and confirmed bookings for a departure) - there is a link at the top of the page to go to the manifest.
Frankly, the manifest could do with some more work.... but we thought we would put up something so everyone can feedback!

- Offline feedback has suggested that the new manifest isn't that useful - except to quickly glance at. FYI - we are now going to work on the departure manifest phase #2..... which will be much better.
