Every so often we put new functionality development "on hold" and focus on all the small things that add up over time that need improvement (on existing functionality).

Beginning 12th May we are going to do a "snag week". We hope to clear the backlog during the course of the week.

The list is long.... and if you have already submitted tweak requests.... we have them on file.... but if you want to prompt us.... you can add a comment below if you wish!

Here's a couple for you...

New money section - can you add an 'Assigned to' section to the booking results please, so that our different users can see clearly which of the bookings apply to them, and act on them accordingly.

Customer Extra Data fields - can you create some tokens for these please, for use in email and rtf templates

Flags - can we have the same multi-flag delete ability on the main Flags page, as we have within a booking

Booking Edit - Money section - can we have the ability to enter the date for Sales ledger payments

TTA report

Options - ability to delete an option from multiple tours (similar to adding one to multiple tours)

Thanks for this..... Just to note

* Booking edit - money section - you can edit the date of a sales ledger payment in the edit payment popup

* You can remove an option from all tours... yes we can improve this popup!

Thanks Alex,

One more thing - when I copy text from an Extra Details field, it doesn't carry any formatting with it.
When I copy text from a Booking Note, it does carry formatting with it. Any chance of removing this formatting ? (I know I can use Paste Special to strip it out, but I use keyboard shortcuts a lot, and this is a slow way of doing it)

Sorry - one of the boxes is a "textarea" and the other is HTML on the screen.
Not much we can do about that

However, if you are pasting into word, you can setup a keyboard shortcut for paste special

OK, thanks for that.

One last one - Can we get a tick-box setting within an Option Setup, to determine whether or not that Option is displayed in rtf documents (invoices, booking forms, vouchers etc.).
This would be very useful for 'behind the scenes' options that are used to build up a tour, but that the customer doesn't need to see.
Could you add it to your list please, if there's no time this week.

Hi Alex
We're new to TourCMS, and looking to use it for our business. It looks like a great product. However, why does the system logout after 15 minutes of inactivity? Is this something that can be altered by the user or as part of your snag week? 15 minutes isn't long enough - that could be just one phone call which takes you away from what you were doing. Is data inputted prior to time-out logoff automatically saved, or is it lost? I imagine having to log back in multiple times per day could be extremely frustrating.

Hi Ann,
Thank you for your feedback. Yes that timeout is annoying - however the timelimit has been set by the PCI (Payment Card Industry) standard relating to data protection hence we are complying with the industry standard (probably rather too firmly)

There are a couple of "tricks" that you can use to work around it

1) Roboform - http://www.roboform.com/ - which I know is used by some TourCMS customers
2) Whenever you get a "time out alert" (telling you that you will be loged out in 5 minutes) - you can just refresh the page in your browser (or move to another page).

Maybe an idea is to have a choice in the configuration to either open the booking engine in new window or keep it in the same window.
