Beautiful country side with majestic temples

Kinn, Cam, and I took a 3 day package tour of Angkor. We landed into the Siem Reap airport. Our tour guide, Piseth, met us there. The first thing I felt was the serenity of the country side. There were small homes all long roads with lush trees. After a few minutes of driving, we got to "the strip". The strip is what I call their main street that has most of the new hotels (like the Las Vegas Strip). Our guide said there were ~ 30 hotels in 1998 and now (in 2005), there are ~80 hotels.
